The analysis provided by The Second Opinion is strictly an informational market review. This analysis is NOT a formal appraisal, guaranteed sale price, or binding financial commitment.

We use aggregated data and proprietary tools to give you an estimate of your home's potential open-market value compared to a cash offer. Real estate markets fluctuate, and actual sale prices are determined by buyers and sellers in the open market.

3. Agent Introductions & Handoff

Our service may include connecting you with a third-party, independent real estate agent ("Partner Agent"). Please be aware:

  • Once an introduction is made, the relationship is formally handed off to the independent Partner Agent.
  • The Partner Agent may provide a different pricing strategy or market analysis than our initial informational review.
  • We do not control, endorse, or manage the methods, pricing opinions, or business practices of the Partner Agents.

4. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, The Second Opinion, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues (whether incurred directly or indirectly), or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from:

  • Your access to, use of, or inability to access or use our services.
  • Any conduct or content of any third party, including without limitation, any defamatory, offensive, or illegal conduct of partner agents or real estate buyers/investors.
  • Any decisions, financial or otherwise, made by you based on our informational market review or the advice of connected Partner Agents.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

Our service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We expressly disclaim all warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including, but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We make no warranty that the service will meet your requirements or be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free.

6. Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights.
